My big brother and his new wife Ashley were married last month at Pepper Plantation in South Carolina. It was an absolute blast, and you could feel the love through out the entire day. While setting up for the event, I was surrounded by wonderful vendors, a beautiful day and setting, and filled with so much excitement for our two families. The rustic plantation was the perfect venue for the vision of the day (see that HERE). I love when a bride and groom aren’t afraid to use some color–the flowers in this wedding were unreal. Congrats to Ashley+Alex–I love you both so much and am so glad you found each other! xoxo
Thank you to the awesome vendors:

This is Heyward. He was a huge inspiration for the wedding. Ashley+Alex may be a tad bit obsessed with him. Can you blame them?!
Oh, how cute will their kids be?
I loved loved loved this flower girl, my brother’s God daughter. She is the cutest. I also smile so wide looking at that moment with Ashley…that was right after she got to see the reception set-up before the ceremony (and she was pretty happy :)). We’ve worked so hard together over the last year, and it is always my favorite part to see the bride’s happy, smiling face.
The finishing touches…I just adore that look on my brother’s face. It’s priceless.
I was so happy that Ashley wanted to use color through out the wedding, the flowers were fantastic and I finally had the chance to use milk glass (yum!). We used vintage windows for the seating chart, had a ‘wishing tree’ for the guest book, beautiful eyelet lace chargers, and burlap table runners to round out the romantic-rustic feel. It was absolutely gorgeous.
The wedding favor was a packet of Ashley+Alex’s favorite recipes, their ‘Recipes for Love’. Erica from The Summerhouse never ceases to amaze me!
It was a rather chilly day, so we decided to have a hot drink station to help warm everyone up. We also used the fire pit to make s’mores–they were a hit!
Congrats again Ashley+Alex, your wedding day was one I will surely never forget. So happy for you and this beautiful, love-filled event!
